Join Our Team as a Paralegal!

Responsibilities:

• Engage with clients in a warm, welcoming, and empathetic manner to build trust and credibility.
• Review client documents to prepare petitions for Attorney-Client review.
• Revise petitions with any corrections for final client review and signature.
• Process finalized petitions for filing upon Attorney approval.
• Notify and inform clients of 341 hearing instructions.
• Organize and prepare 341 documents and submit them to Trustee.
• Prepare and file petitions, plans, motions, other pleadings, amended schedules & statements, and amended plans with ECF.
• Notify the client of plan and payment options.
• Receive, process, and manage reaffirmation agreements with clients and opposing counsel to file with the court.
• Prepare ad-hoc documents upon request by the United States Trustee.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Notify the client of case discharge and other relevant information regarding case closing.

• Ability to function well in a high-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
• Proficient with Google Suite or related software.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associate degree.
• Bilingual English/Spanish.
• 2 years of experience in bankruptcy.
